What's included
What's included in your SEO work
SEO, AEO & GEO
Structure, content and technical performance so you rank higher on Google and get read correctly by AI tools.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile and local signals optimised so nearby customers find you.
Content Strategy
Content that builds trust, answers the right questions, and gives Google reasons to rank you.
Social Media Marketing
Consistent presence on the platforms your customers use, driving traffic back to the site.
Keyword alignment
When someone searches "plumber near Gillingham", Google matches intent against pages on the web. I align your copy with that exact search intent, put keywords in the H1, add precise alt text, and clean up metadata so titles render fully in results.
Site health & performance
A slow, confusing codebase means Google's bots abandon their crawl early, so I optimise Core Web Vitals and critical rendering path. With Advanced, I also implement unified schema linking your local business entities, authors and services.
Local ranking strategy
A plumber in Gillingham needs to rank for "plumber near Gillingham", not just "plumber". I build local citations, map pages to precise intent zones across Medway and Kent, and structure landing pages for localised search.
Beyond the blue link
How AEO and GEO actually work
Written to be quoted, not just read
An AI Overview or a ChatGPT answer lifts a self-contained passage, usually a direct question followed by a direct answer, not a paragraph that only makes sense after three others. I restructure key pages so the answer to the question someone actually asked sits in one clean block a model can quote whole.
Entities, not just keywords
Generative engines lean on structured facts about who you are as much as the words on the page: your business, the people in it, the services you offer and how they connect. I build that as explicit entity and schema markup rather than leaving a model to guess it from prose.
Crawlable by the AI bots, not just Googlebot
GPTBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot and the rest each have their own rules, and a site that blocks or slows them is invisible to whatever they power, whatever else is right about the page. I check and configure this explicitly rather than assuming Googlebot access covers it.
Measured differently, checked honestly
There is no Search Console for AI answers. I track it by testing your actual target questions against ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews directly and recording whether and how you are mentioned, rather than reporting a metric that does not really exist.

Who it's for
Who SEO is worth it for
Worth investing in if
✓Customers actively search for what you sell
✓One new customer covers Advanced's cost comfortably
✓You can wait 3–6 months for ranking movement
✓Your site is reasonably sound, or you'll fix it as part of this
Spend elsewhere if
×You need enquiries this month: paid ads are the honest answer
×Your website is fundamentally broken: fix that first
×Nobody searches for what you do
×You cannot handle more enquiries right now
The decision
Advanced or Performance?
Advanced is a one-off implementation of schema and breadcrumbs. Performance adds AEO, GEO and ongoing measurement, but only on a headless build.
Common mistakes
SEO mistakes that waste budgets
Buying rankings nobody searches for
A number one position for a term with no volume produces no enquiries.
Thin location pages
Twenty pages sharing one paragraph read as doorway spam.
Ignoring Google Business Profile
The map pack often sits above every ordinary result.
Treating AI search as someone else's problem
Buyers now ask ChatGPT and Perplexity instead of scrolling results.
What it costs
What SEO costs, and what you are paying for
Foundation SEO is included free with every build. WebOws Advanced, the structural work of schema and breadcrumbs, is a one-off implementation from £300. WebOws Performance, full AEO and GEO visibility, is priced on application and available exclusively with a headless build.
Foundation is never optional, so it is never sold separately: page titles and meta descriptions written for search, alt text on every image, correct heading structure from H1 down, a clean sitemap generated and submitted, and indexing requested at launch. Every site I build gets this, full stop.
Advanced is a one-off implementation, not a retainer: hand written JSON-LD schema for your business and services, breadcrumb markup across the site, and validation so it all actually parses, delivered with a written record of what was added and why. Available on any build, or on an existing Wix site I did not build.
Performance is the visibility work search is moving towards: AEO structure so your business is cited in AI generated answers, GEO signals for the areas that matter to you, entity markup connecting your business, people and services, and ongoing measurement. It depends on the technical control only a headless build provides, which is why it is exclusive to a WebOws Performance build.
How long it takes
How long SEO takes to work
The Advanced or Performance implementation itself is usually done within one to two weeks, and Foundation is live from day one. How long ranking movement itself takes is in the FAQ below; here is where those weeks and months actually go.
At launch
Foundation
Titles, descriptions, alt text, heading structure and a submitted sitemap are built in from day one, so indexing starts the moment the site goes live.
One to two weeks
Advanced
Schema and breadcrumbs written, added and validated, delivered as a single implementation with a written record of what changed and why.
Scoped with the build
Performance
AEO structure, GEO signals and entity markup built into a headless site as part of the build itself, because they depend on that technical control.
Months two to six
Ranking movement
Where the real waiting happens, on any tier. Technical work makes a site eligible to rank; the movement still depends on Google recrawling and re-ranking.
After launch
What you keep, and how you know it worked
Every Advanced implementation ends with a written record, in plain English, of what changed on the site and why it matters, so nothing you paid for is invisible or unverifiable later.
Performance's ongoing measurement means I keep watching how the site is cited in AI generated answers and how it performs on the terms and areas that matter to you, rather than treating the build as finished at launch.
You keep full access to your own Google Search Console and Analytics throughout, in your own accounts, so you can check anything yourself at any time regardless of which tier you are on.
Wix SEO
SEO built for how Wix actually works
Most SEO advice is written for WordPress and adapted afterwards. Wix handles technical SEO, redirects and page rendering differently, and I work inside its actual constraints rather than a generic checklist - fixing duplicate or missing meta descriptions on dynamic pages, schema hand-implemented inside Wix's Custom Code and CMS rather than a generic app installed and hoped, and migration SEO that protects rankings moving onto or off the platform.
Wix technical SEO
URL structure, the settings panel and canonical handling, the platform-specific issues generic agencies miss.
Wix CMS & collections SEO
CMS and collection pages structured so they're genuinely crawlable and indexable, not just published.
Migration SEO
Redirects, sitemap handoffs and indexing continuity protected when moving onto or off Wix.
Available on any build, or on an existing Wix site I did not build - not just my own work.
Questions
SEO FAQs
How long does SEO take to show results?+
A long term strategy. Most clients start seeing meaningful movement in 3 to 6 months, depending on industry, competition and starting point.
Do you offer local SEO?+
Yes, with your Google Business Profile and location-specific content as standard. Local business schema comes with Advanced.
How do you measure success?+
Rankings, organic traffic, click-through rates and enquiries, reported back clearly.
What is AEO?+
Answer Engine Optimisation: structuring content so it gets pulled into direct answers - Google's AI Overviews, voice assistants, and featured snippets - rather than just ranking as a blue link. Part of Performance, built on a headless site's technical foundation.
What is GEO?+
Generative Engine Optimisation, getting referenced by AI tools like ChatGPT. Part of Performance, built on a headless site's technical foundation.
Does page speed affect my SEO?+
Yes, it's a Google ranking factor. I optimise every site for performance including image compression and load times.
Is SEO different on a Wix site?+
Yes, meaningfully. Wix handles technical SEO, redirects and page rendering differently to WordPress or Squarespace, and generic SEO advice often doesn't apply directly - see the Wix SEO section above.
Do you offer GEO on Wix specifically?+
Yes. Generative Engine Optimisation works within Wix's structure the same way, and I build it into every Wix SEO project.
