I am Owen Measures, founder and lead designer at WebOws Design, based in Gillingham and working across Kent and worldwide. How much does a website cost?+
From £800 for a custom multi-page site, with most small business projects landing between £800 and £2,500 depending on page count, e-commerce or booking needs, and how much content I write. You get a fixed quote before I start, so the number never moves.
How long does a website take to build?+
Two to four weeks for most small business sites once I have your content; larger builds with e-commerce or custom functionality run four to eight weeks. The biggest cause of delay is waiting on text and photos, so I tell you exactly what I need up front.
Will my website show up on Google?+
Every site includes Foundation SEO free: clean structure, fast loading, proper titles, descriptions and structured data, making you eligible to rank. Competitive search terms usually benefit from the Advanced tier on top, from £300.
Can I update it myself afterwards?+
Yes. I build on Wix Studio, so you can change text, swap images and add pages without paying a developer for every edit. I hand over a trained, working site and show you how to use it.
What if I already have a website?+
I redesign and rebuild existing sites regularly, including ones left unfinished by someone else. If yours is on Wix and causing problems, my Wix Rescue service is built exactly for that.
